CX-423 is the narrow-view diffuse-reflective model of Panasonic’s CX-400 Ver.2 series; with a red LED it detects small objects (down to a Ø0.5 mm copper wire) and needs no reflector. Sensing range: 70 to 300 mm. Sensing object: opaque, translucent or transparent object (min.: Ø0.5 mm copper wire). Emitting element: red LED.
Output: NPN open-collector transistor; switchable either Light-ON or Dark-ON. Response time: 1 ms or less. Supply: 12 to 24 V DC ±10 %, ripple P-P 10 % or less. Degree of protection IP67, operating temperature −25 to +55 °C. Connection: 0.2 mm² 3-core cabtyre cable, 2 m.
