The Telemecanique XCSDMP is a coded magnetic safety switch from the XCS range. Its standard rectangular body is made of thermoplastic PBT (88 × 25 × 13 mm) and offers 3 approach directions. The assured operating distance (Sa) is 8 mm and the assured release distance (Sar) 20 mm. Contacts: 1 NC + 1 NO staggered (5902) or 1 NC + 2 NO (1 NO staggered) with LED (50110). Contacts are rhodium; maximum sensitivity to magnetic fields is 0.3 mT. With appropriate monitoring it can reach category 4, PL e (ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3 (IEC 61508); B10d is 50,000,000.
Rated operational voltage is 24 V DC, rated insulation voltage 100 V DC and maximum operational current 100 mA. The XCSDMP5902 is pre-cabled with a 2 m, 4 × 0.25 mm² PVC cable and the XCSDMP50110 with a 10 m, 6 × 0.25 mm² PVC cable. Switching capacity is 0.1–100 mA (5902) or 5–100 mA (50110), breaking capacity 10 VA or 3 VA. Electrical durability is 1,200,000 cycles and switching frequency 150 Hz. Operating temperature is -25 to +85 °C, degree of protection IP66 and IP67; UL and CSA certified.
