TREK-60N is Advantech’s dual-system rugged edge AI platform designed for in-vehicle and harsh environments (“In-Vehicle AI Solutions” category). Two computers run in one chassis: an Intel Atom x5-E3940 (Windows 10 IoT) or Core i7-1365URE (Windows 11 IoT or Ubuntu 24.04) host system for fleet management, the driver interface and application software, and an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8 GB (1024 CUDA, 32 Tensor Cores, its own 128 GB NVMe) for AI inference on the video from four PoE cameras. The 314 × 172.2 × 95.3 mm chassis (5.8 kg) is IP65 rated with MIL-STD-810G and EN 60721-3 5M3 shock/vibration tolerance; the Atom version operates from −20 to 60 °C and the Core i7 version from −20 to 50 °C without airflow.
The vehicle interfaces come on the TREK family’s standard VIO 2.0 and Generic I/O 2.0 cables: ignition/power input, J1708 (J1587), two J1939 / OBD-II compliant CAN channels (CAN FD on the Core i7 version), four RS-232/485, six isolated DI, four isolated DO and dual audio in/out. The Intel side has two Gigabit LAN, USB ports, HDMI and Smart Display Port 2.0 for the TREK-303 / 306 smart displays (video, audio, USB and power on one cable); the Jetson side has four PoE ports (30 W total, power control via MRM SDK), 4K HDMI and USB 3.0. The built-in GNSS (Atom: NEO-M8N; Core i7: NEO-M9L with dead reckoning), G-sensor and gyroscope, and the Wi-Fi 6/7 + Bluetooth 5.3 and 4G/5G modules in the M.2 slots work through five FAKRA antenna connectors. iVPM 2.0 vehicle power management provides ignition delay, wake-up by RTC / call / G-sensor and battery protection; DeviceOn iService provides OTA updates and remote SSH. Certifications CE, FCC, RCM, CCC, UL/cUL, CB, E-Mark (E13), SAE J1455, CE (RED).
