HIKROBOT MV-DP4020-01P — 3D Cameras & Profile Sensors

The MV-DP4020-01P belongs to HIKROBOT’s highest-precision tier, the DP4000 series, and operates at a very short 22.6 mm reference distance. Its narrow 13.5-14-14.5 mm X-axis scan width and 5.2 mm Z-axis depth are built for micro-scale applications where sub-millimeter geometric differences need to be distinguished. A high-speed, high-resolution, large-pixel image chip delivers dense data even within this small measurement volume.

FPGA hardware scanning at 49 kHz works together with a customized large-iris lens and an ultra-uniform laser optical solution to optimize image quality and light distribution. An ultra-high subpixel algorithm pushes repeatability down to 0.15 µm, and the integrated design allows the sensor to be mounted easily even in tight spaces.

Where it is used

The 22.6 mm reference distance and 0.15 µm repeatability suit the most demanding inspection tasks, such as semiconductor packaging, precision electronic component checks, or micro-connector and pin measurement. At 4080 data points per profile, the sensor can detect very small surface defects and sub-micron height differences, making it a candidate for final inspection of precision automotive or battery-cell components as well.

Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
