The MV-DP2470-01P V2.0 pushes the DP2000 family into large-object territory, with a 565 mm reference distance and a 142-488 mm measurement range — a substantial jump from the mid-range models. Even at this scale, gauge-block testing confirms Z-axis repeatability of 4.45 µm, and the sensor still resolves 3200 points per profile across the wider field of view.

Multiple-frame integration compensates for shadowing or gaps that a wide measurement range can introduce, assembling a complete profile from the available data. A maximum scan rate of 23.9 kHz means throughput doesn’t suffer even as the sensor covers considerably more surface per pass.

The 142-488 mm range fits dimensional and surface inspection of large automotive body panels and sheet-metal parts. It also applies to outer-casing checks on large lithium battery pack enclosures and surface inspection of sizeable semiconductor equipment housings. The long reference distance is useful wherever the sensor must sit farther back from the part than mid-range models allow.
