The Telemecanique XCSDMC is a coded magnetic safety switch from the XCS range. Its compact rectangular body is made of thermoplastic PBT (51 × 16 × 7 mm) and offers 3 approach directions. The assured operating distance (Sa) is 5 mm and the assured release distance (Sar) 15 mm. The XCSDMC5902 has 1 NC + 1 NO and the XCSDMC7902 2 NC staggered contacts. Contacts are rhodium; maximum sensitivity to magnetic fields is 0.3 mT. With appropriate monitoring it can reach category 4, PL e (ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3 (IEC 61508); B10d is 50,000,000.
