CX-444 is the adjustable-range reflective model of Panasonic’s CX-400 Ver.2 series: the threshold distance is set with a 5-turn mechanical adjuster and BGS (background suppression) or FGS (foreground suppression) is selected by wiring, so the background or conveyor surface is ignored. Sensing range: 15 to 100 mm. Adjustable range: 20 to 100 mm. Emitting element: red LED.
Output: NPN open-collector transistor; switchable either Detection-ON or Detection-OFF. Response time: 1 ms or less. Supply: 12 to 24 V DC ±10 %, ripple P-P 10 % or less. Degree of protection IP67, operating temperature −25 to +55 °C. Connection: 0.2 mm² 4-core cabtyre cable, 2 m.
