CX-421 is the diffuse-reflective model of Panasonic’s CX-400 Ver.2 compact series; it needs no reflector and receives the beam reflected directly from the object. Sensing range: 300 mm. Sensing object: opaque, translucent or transparent object. Emitting element: infrared LED.
Output: NPN open-collector transistor; switchable either Light-ON or Dark-ON. Response time: 1 ms or less. Supply: 12 to 24 V DC ±10 %, ripple P-P 10 % or less. Degree of protection IP67, operating temperature −25 to +55 °C. Connection: 0.2 mm² 3-core cabtyre cable, 2 m.
