The MV-ID2013XM-12M-RBN-U is the cable variant of the 12 mm lens class, keeping the same 1280×1024 resolution and 80 codes/sec read speed while adding cable-routing flexibility. Its high-robustness algorithm reliably reads stained, skewed, low-contrast, and laser-marked metal codes even at longer range.

The rotatable and separated cable design together with multi-surface mounting interfaces reduce cable fatigue on robot-arm or moving-fixture installations. Multi-channel isolated I/O support lets the unit interface securely with a range of industrial protocols at the hardware level.

Where it is used

It suits cell-level applications where the reader is mounted on a robot arm or moving fixture and the cable is in constant motion. Automotive body-line stations reading larger metal parts from a distance, where cable flexibility is a practical concern, are a good fit.
