The MV-ID2013XM-12L-RBN-U is the cable variant of the 12L lens group, keeping the same 1280×1024 resolution and 80 codes/sec read speed while offering cable flexibility for different mounting orientations. Its high-robustness algorithm reliably identifies stained, skewed, low-contrast, and laser-marked metal codes even at extended range.

Multi-channel isolated I/O and supported industrial protocols make it easier to fold multiple readers across different lines into one centralized monitoring setup. IDMVS V5.0.0-and-later compatibility speeds up configuration and verification across multi-station installations.

Key features

  • Adopts high-robustness algorithm to accurately identify difficult codes, such as stained code, skewed code, low-contrast code, and code on laser-marked metal surfaces.
  • Integrates digital WDR image processing algorithm, and combines with 4-channel light source control and multiple optical accessories for enhancing code clarity.
  • Adopts modular design, rotatable cable, separated cable, and multi-surface mounting interfaces for flexible mounting.
  • Supports multi-channel isolated I/O and multiple industrial protocols for integration into diverse automation systems.
  • Compatible with IDMVS client software V5.0.0 and later, it can achieve functions such as auto focusing and one-click tuning for fast debugging.

Where it is used

It fits multi-station traceability lines where readers tied to different controllers are managed under a shared protocol infrastructure. Typical applications include reading automotive body parts from a distance in harsh factory conditions and at mounting points where cable routing options are limited.

Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.

Is this code reader right for your application?

Let us determine code type, reading distance, field of view and communication together, based on your application. FST is HIKROBOT’s distributor in Türkiye; product selection, commissioning and after-sales support all come from one source.
