Braided Expansion Joint
On a braided expansion joint the wire braid surrounding the bellows carries the axial thrust generated by internal pressure. The bellows is thereby restrained against elongation and the unit mainly absorbs lateral and angular movement.
Selection parameters
This product is sized on a project basis. To receive a quotation, please provide the following.
| Nominal diameter (DN) | According to line size |
| Working pressure (PN) | According to line pressure class |
| Working temperature | According to medium and ambient temperature |
| Medium | Water, steam, oil, gas or process fluid |
| Movement | Expected axial / lateral / angular movement |
| End connection | Flanged, threaded or welded |
| Body material | Determined by the application |
Dimension tables, pressure class and material certificates vary with the application and are therefore shared on a project basis. Contact us to determine the right model for your line.
