The MVL-KF3540-25MP shares the same 35 mm focal length as its family sibling but, unlike other members, carries a fixed F4 iris — the aperture cannot be adjusted, but the trade-off is a structurally more stable lens body. That fixed-iris design gives it a mechanically tougher build against vibration and impact than adjustable-aperture models. Ultra-low distortion and a high peripheral brightness ratio aim for repeatable image quality under stable lighting conditions.

Where it is used
Its fixed-iris build suits robot-arm-mounted stations or moving lines exposed to continuous vibration, as well as fixed-lighting production cells where an operator must not be able to accidentally shift the aperture setting. It also fits enclosed-cabinet inspection stations where lighting conditions never change.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
