The MVL-KF0818M-12MP is the shortest-focal-length model in HIKROBOT’s 1.1″ 12 MP FA Lens (KF) family. At 8 mm it delivers a very wide angle of view suited to ultra-short working-distance setups where the camera sits right next to the target. Its adjustable F1.8–F11 iris gives room to trade off depth of field against light throughput as conditions change.

Where it is used
The ultra-short working distance it supports is an advantage wherever the camera must fit inside a compact enclosure or a tight station. It suits close-range, wide-angle inspection of small electronic components, tunnel-type inspection stations, and compact machine-vision modules where space around the camera is limited.
