The FT-43 is an M4 threaded, thru-beam type plastic fiber optic cable/head set (emitter + receiver pair) designed to plug into a compatible Panasonic digital fiber amplifier — confirmed compatible with the FX-500 Ver.2, FX-550/FX-550L, and FX-100 amplifier series (amplifier sold separately). It provides a top-view lens-mountable head with a 1.5 mm beam axis diameter and a 2 m free-cut cable, suited to general-purpose through-beam detection where a compact threaded mounting is required.
