The XCSTR851 is a safety switch from Telemecanique Sensors' Preventa XCS range, mounted directly on the hinge axis of a machine guard door. It mechanically senses the rotation of the hinge pin as the door opens and breaks the circuit, giving a clean, compact safety interface that requires no separate actuator or extra mounting space on the door. Its positive-break contact construction supports safety circuits up to Performance Level e per ISO 13849-1.
