HIKROBOT Handheld Barcode & Code Readers
Wired and wireless code readers carried by the operator.
Choosing a HIKROBOT handheld barcode reader — IDH sub-series
HIKROBOT IDH series handheld barcode and code readers are for warehouse, assembly and dispatch points where the operator does the reading by hand. These image-based readers decode 1D barcodes and 2D codes. The series has four sub-series and 62 models; wired (USB, LAN) and wireless readers, charging bases and smart bases belong to the same family. The table below is compiled from the model pages on this site; values not given on a model page are marked “depends on model”.
| Sub-series | Connection and package options | Resolution | Focal length | Minimum code resolution | Models |

Handheld or fixed-mount?
If products pass the reader continuously at a defined position, fixed-mount barcode and code readers keep up with the line and need no operator. If the code position varies, boxes and pallets of different sizes are handled manually, or reading happens at a limited number of points, a handheld reader is more flexible. Wireless models work with their own base, which connects to a PC or network over USB or LAN. Tell us the code size, reading distance and connection you need and we will select the right model with you.
