WISE-2460 is a robust wired vibration sensor with an ARM Cortex-M7 processor and a single-axis accelerometer detecting up to 10 kHz, communicating over RS-485 with Modbus/RTU. It computes velocity RMS, acceleration RMS and peak, displacement and other vibration metrics on board; up to 10 custom detection bands can be defined between 5 and 10,000 Hz, so high-frequency fault signatures of gearboxes, bearings and high-speed equipment can be monitored.
The fully sealed IP68 housing and −20 to +105 °C operating range allow the sensor to be mounted directly on hot motor housings and in wash-down areas; it attaches via stud, mounting pad/adhesive or magnetic base. It is powered from 10 – 30 V DC and connected to the RS-485 line with an M12 cable. Where wireless transmission is needed, the Modbus data can be carried to a wireless network with the WISE-2200-M LoRaWAN Modbus node or the WISE-4051-B Wi-Fi I/O module; the single ordering code is WISE-2460-MA.
