WISE-2410 is Advantech’s LoRaWAN-based wireless condition-monitoring sensor. The on-board ARM Cortex-M4 processor processes the raw data from the 3-axis accelerometer inside the sensor and sends velocity RMS, acceleration RMS/peak, displacement, kurtosis, crest factor, skewness and standard deviation directly to the application, reducing the load on the gateway and the cloud. Alarm thresholds can be set according to ISO 10816/20816 classes. The sensor also measures equipment surface temperature through its metal base.
Two 3.6 V AA lithium batteries give roughly two years of operation at a one-reading-per-hour interval; the sensor attaches to equipment without cabling via stud, mounting pad/adhesive or magnetic base. Configuration is done over Micro-B USB with the WISE Studio utility. Choose WISE-2410-EB (EU 863-870 MHz) or WISE-2410-NB (US 902-928 MHz; optional firmware patches for JP/AS/KR/AU) according to the regional frequency band; data is collected through a WISE-6610-series LoRaWAN gateway.
