The MV-DP3020-01P V2.0 is the tightest-range member of the DP3000 triangulation-based 3D laser profiler family, covering 14–14.6 mm on the X-axis and 6.8 mm on the Z-axis at a 21.4 mm reference distance. Unlike the rest of this batch, it is built around single-frame HDR rather than multi-frame integration, letting it hold stable contour data on parts with mixed material reflectivity in one capture. Its 0.22 µm repeatability places it at the top of the group for precision.

A built-in high-accuracy algorithm keeps measurements at submicron level, and the 46.7 kHz scan frame rate keeps pace with fast-moving production lines without dropping data. Multiple filter modes stabilize the profile output, while ROI selection and auto-setup simplify commissioning. Because HDR is captured in a single frame, glossy and matte regions on the same part don’t need a second pass to resolve.

The narrow field and high precision suit small-scale inspection tasks such as lithium battery electrode and tab weld checks, semiconductor packaging surfaces, and small automotive connector components where fine detail matters. For parts combining reflective and absorptive surfaces in a compact footprint — plated terminals next to matte housings, for example — the single-frame HDR keeps results stable without extra configuration.
