As the highest-resolution member of HIKROBOT’s HDMI microscope camera family, this model uses a 1/1.56″ CMOS rolling-shutter sensor with 2 μm pixels to deliver up to 30 fps at 4096×3024 (12 MP) resolution. It shares the same 0-18 dB gain range and measurement/report functions as its 4 MP measurement sibling, but its nearly three-times pixel count reveals much finer detail. This higher resolution comes with a typical power consumption of 4.8 W (@12 VDC) — higher than the 4 MP model’s 3.6 W.
Its connectivity matches the other measurement model: HDMI for direct monitor output, a USB port for a mouse or flash disk, and USB 3.0 to connect to a PC and run the client software. Image storage, parameter adjustment, measurement functions and report generation are all handled through that client software. It runs on an independent 12-24 VDC supply and uses a C-mount lens interface; at 75×75×87.3 mm and 461 g, it is the largest and heaviest model in the family.
