This 4 MP HDMI camera uses a 1/1.88″ CMOS rolling-shutter sensor with 2.9 μm pixels to deliver up to 30 fps at 2560×1440 resolution. Unlike the entry-level 2 MP model in the HIKROBOT family, it carries a measurement function and connects to a PC via USB3.0 to run with the client software. Its narrower 0-18 dB gain range targets a lower-noise image suited to measurement accuracy.
The HDMI output connects straight to a monitor, while the USB port accepts a mouse or USB flash disk; the USB 3.0 interface links the camera to a PC to operate through the client software. That software supports image storage, image-parameter adjustment, measurement functions and report generation. It runs on an independent 12-24 VDC supply (typ. 3.6 W @ 12 VDC), uses a C-mount lens interface, and its 75×75×86.9 mm, 430 g housing is larger than the 2 MP model’s but still compact.
