At Future Sensing Technology (“FST”, “the Company”, “we”), we take the security of your personal data seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data collected through the fst.com.tr website is processed under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

  • Identity and contact data: name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number, company name and job title (when submitted by you via the contact form)
  • Content of your enquiry: the information and requests contained in your message
  • Transaction security data: IP address, browser and device information, date and time of visit, pages viewed
  • Cookie data: technical data relating to your use of the site

  • Evaluating your enquiries and quotation requests and responding to your questions
  • Providing information and technical support regarding our products and services
  • Conducting pre-contractual negotiations and managing the business relationship

4. Legal Bases

Your personal data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK on the grounds that processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, and is necessary for our legitimate interests. Where none of these grounds apply, processing is based on your explicit consent. The corresponding legal bases under the GDPR are Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f), and Article 6(1)(a) for consent.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to our suppliers providing hosting, e-mail and web analytics services, only to the extent required by the service and subject to confidentiality obligations. It may also be transferred to legally authorised public institutions upon request within the framework of applicable legislation. Where data is transferred abroad, appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK and Chapter V of the GDPR.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and for the limitation and retention periods prescribed by applicable legislation. Once these periods expire, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

  • To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred
  • To request the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data
  • To request the erasure or destruction of the data within the conditions set out in the law
  • To request that rectification, erasure and destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred
  • To object to a result adverse to you arising from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems
  • To claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing

Under the GDPR you additionally have the right to data portability, to object to processing, to request restriction of processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time.

9. How to Submit a Request

You may submit requests relating to your rights to serdar.gunduz@fst.com.tr. Depending on its nature, your request will be concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you retain the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board or your local supervisory authority.

10. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and administrative measures to ensure an adequate level of security in order to prevent unlawful processing of and unlawful access to your personal data, and to safeguard its retention.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when necessary. The current version is always published on this page and takes effect together with the “Last updated” date shown above.
