GP-X8S is an eddy current type sensor head from Panasonic’s GP-X series: it measures the distance to a metal target without contact; together with the GP-XC controller it offers 25 μs sampling and ±0.3 % F.S. linearity on stainless steel and iron. Head and controller are ordered as the set codes (GP-XC…) in the ordering table. Measuring/sensing range: 0 to 2 mm. Resolution: 0.02 % F.S. (64-sample averaging). Linearity: Within ±0.3 % F.S. Sampling frequency: 40 kHz (25 μs).
