HG-S1050 is a contact-type digital displacement sensor head from Panasonic’s HG-S series: the probe touches the workpiece and the spindle position is read by an optical absolute linear encoder; it is used to measure dimensions, thickness, height differences and warpage. It works with an HG-SC controller. Measuring/sensing range: 50 mm. Resolution: 0.5 μm. Sampling: 1 ms.
