Number of models: 2 (MIC-733-AO, MIC-733-TS)
MIC-733-AO and MIC-733-TS are two versions of the compact fanless AI inference platform Advantech built around the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module. MIC-733-AO is the general-purpose model for manufacturing, smart-city and AI + 5G applications; with the 32 or 64 GB module, optional PoE, PCIe x8 iModule and GMSL2 camera options it is a flexible box computer. MIC-733-TS adapts the same core to the NEMA TS2 requirements of traffic signal cabinets: −34 to 74 °C operation, 500 ms power-interruption backup and, in the package, a ruggedised power adapter, a 60 W PoE board and an industrial NVMe. Both sit in a 192 mm wide, 4.5 kg chassis for desktop or wall mounting, are monitored 24/7 and updated OTA through Allxon. FST presents the pair as the MIC-733 family in the NVIDIA AI PC category; each model page has the full datasheet-based specification table, part numbers and accessories.
Common platform: AGX Orin, 4 × GbE, extensive expansion
Both models carry the Jetson AGX Orin 32 GB (8-core Cortex-A78AE, 1792 CUDA + 56 Tensor Cores, 200 TOPS); MIC-733-AO can also be ordered with 64 GB (12-core, 2048 CUDA + 64 Tensor Cores, 275 TOPS); 64 GB eMMC is on board. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports power IP cameras with the PoE board; 4K HDMI, four isolated DI / four DO, two RS-232/422/485 on a pin header, a Micro USB recovery port and a power button are common. Expansion: two Mini PCIe, two nano SIMs, M.2 3052 B key (5G + GNSS), M.2 2280 NVMe (PCIe x4), micro SD, an iDoor bracket reserve and an SPI TPM 2.0 module. 3 Grms vibration, 10 G shock; Allxon remote management and an optional OOB module; JetPack BSP (AO 5.0+, TS 6.1+).
Which model for which job
MIC-733-AO (192 × 230 × 87 mm): the general-purpose AI inference computer for factory, logistics and smart-city sites — 9 – 36 VDC wide input, −10 to 60 °C, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 per the datasheet, a PCIe x8 slot via the optional MIC-75M10 iModule (frame grabber, extra Ethernet), two GMSL2 cameras via MIC-FG-4G2C1, a DIN-rail kit; Azure Certified Device. MIC-733-TS (192 × 290 × 87 mm): the NEMA TS2 version for intersection and traffic signal cabinets — −34 to 74 °C, 500 ms power-interruption backup, a 12 VDC ruggedised 240 W adapter, a 4 × PoE / 2 × PoE+ board with a 60 W budget and a −40 to 85 °C grade 512 GB NVMe in the package; NEMA TS2 / CE / FCC.
Cameras, wireless and storage
PoE cameras are powered directly from the Ethernet ports (optional 4-port PoE module on the AO, 60 W PoE board standard on the TS); USB3 cameras use the USB 3.2 Gen 2 / USB 3.0 ports, and MIC-733-AO has optional GMSL2 FAKRA inputs. Wi-Fi 5/6 + Bluetooth and 4G modules go into the Mini PCIe slots, a 5G Sub-6 + GNSS module into the M.2 3052 B key slot; antenna and cable sets with Advantech part numbers are on the model pages. For storage, SQFlash NVMe SSDs from 128 GB to 2 TB in different temperature grades are selected (512 GB pre-installed on the TS).
Where it is used
MIC-733-AO: visual quality inspection on production lines, warehouse and logistics analytics, smart-city video analytics, retail and building AI applications, 5G-connected field cabinets. MIC-733-TS: intersection traffic analytics, vehicle and pedestrian counting, adaptive signal control, emergency-vehicle priority, AI inference nodes running inside traffic cabinets. FST configures the MIC-733 system with the camera, wireless module and SSD selection and delivers it as one solution with model commissioning and Allxon remote-management setup services.
