The MVL-AF5040M-M42 is a 50 mm fixed-focal-length lens from HIKROBOT’s Half Frame series, built around a moderate telephoto range that narrows the field of view for detailed inspection at typical working distances. Its large-aperture optical design (down to F4) keeps image clarity consistent across the frame while holding distortion, chromatic aberration and relative-illumination loss low. With a Φ37 mm image circle it covers APS-C area scan sensors as well as 4K 7 μm-pixel line scan sensors, supporting resolutions compatible with 3.1 μm pixel sizes.
