The MVL-AF3528M-M42 is a 35 mm lens with the largest image circle in this family, Φ42 mm, engineered to cover large-format area scan cameras as well as 4K, 7 μm line scan cameras. Combining a large aperture, low distortion, low chromatic aberration, and high corner illuminance, it maintains consistent image quality out to the edges of the frame even on bigger sensors. That combination helps avoid the corner darkening and color shift that large-format imaging systems often struggle with.

Where it is used
The wide Φ42 mm image circle makes this lens well suited to setups using large-format area scan cameras where uniform image quality is needed all the way to the sensor edges, such as inspecting large panels or sheet materials.
