Where it is used
The 16 mm focal length suits mid-range inspection stations where the camera sits a bit farther from the target yet must still resolve fine detail — small text, connector pins, an assembly flaw. It’s a better fit than the 12 mm model on setups forced to increase camera-to-object distance, for example on lines with limited space along the belt.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
