As the longest focal length in the HF family, this 50 mm lens offers the narrowest field of view, delivering magnified, detailed imaging even when the camera sits well back from the target. Vibration resistance — with optical axis shift confined to pixel level — matters most at this long focal length, especially on elevated mounts or moving platforms.

Where it is used
