The MV-ID5050XM-12L-RBN is one of the ultra-compact embedded readers in HIKROBOT’s ID5000 series, built around a 2432×2048 sensor and a 12 mm focal length for short-range barcode, 2D code and DPM reading in tight installation spaces. Its built-in deep learning decoding algorithm delivers robust reads at up to 120 codes/sec and 92.0 fps, keeping pace with fast-moving lines. An integrated touchscreen lets operators view statistics and adjust parameters directly on the device without a PC connection.

A rotatable cable outlet simplifies routing at awkward mounting angles, while multi-sided status indicators make device state visible from several viewing directions. The controllable light source and choice of lens mounts — C-mount, mechanical-focus or liquid-lens — let the reader be matched to different workpiece surfaces, and the HDR function preserves image quality in high-contrast scenes.

Where it is used

Well suited to reading small DPM codes on PCBs in electronics assembly where mounting space around the sensor is limited. Its I/O interfaces allow direct integration with PLCs on high-speed packaging and labeling lines. The compact housing is a natural fit for stations with restricted installation depth.
