HIKROBOT MV-ID2023XM-08L-RBN-U — Fixed Code Readers

The MV-ID2023XM-08L-RBN-U applies the ID2000 series’ high-robustness decoding algorithm — built for stained, skewed, low-contrast, and laser-marked metal codes — on top of the higher-resolution 1920×1280 sensor and 8 mm focal length used in the 2023XM line, giving it more resolution to work with than the standard XM models at a comparable distance.

A modular housing with rotatable and separated-cable options and multi-surface mounting covers the physical installation, while multi-channel isolated I/O and multiple industrial protocol support handle the electrical and network side of bringing it into an automated cell.

Where it is used

It suits automotive or heavy-metal stamping lines running at higher speeds, where direct part marks are read from a slightly greater stand-off distance and still need the difficult-code algorithm to cope with wear, staining, or laser-mark degradation on the part surface. The mounting options also make it workable in cells where the reader has to be angled around fixed guarding or tooling.
