The MV-ID2023XM-08M-RBN is an ultra-compact smart code reader from HIKROBOT’s ID2000 series, combining 1920 × 1280 resolution with an 8 mm standard-type lens suited to short working distances and space-constrained stations. Its defining strength is a high-robustness algorithm that accurately decodes difficult codes — stained, skewed, low-contrast, or laser-marked on metal — cases where conventional readers often fail. With a maximum read speed of 80 codes/sec and a 60 fps frame rate, it keeps pace with fast-moving production lines.

Multi-channel isolated I/O together with support for multiple industrial protocols lets the reader plug directly into PLC-based automation cells without an intermediate gateway, handling triggering, result output, and line control natively.

Where it is used

The 8 mm lens fits assembly cells where the reader sits close to the part, such as compact electronics stations and small metal-component lines.
