HIKROBOT MV-ID2023XM-05M-RBN — Fixed Code Readers

The MV-ID2023XM-05M-RBN steps up to a 1920×1280 sensor within HIKROBOT’s ID2000 ultra-compact smart reader series, paired with a short 5 mm focal length for close-mounted stations. Compared to the standard-resolution models in the family, the extra pixels give it more margin to resolve larger codes or read at greater distances within the same working range.

It carries the same difficult-code decoding algorithm as the rest of the series, built for stained, skewed, low-contrast, and laser-marked metal codes, and pairs it with digital WDR processing plus 4-channel light source control to manage uneven lighting on the production floor.

Where it is used

The short focal length and higher resolution fit compact stations mounted close to the line — food and beverage packaging, for example, where labels can be larger and station space above the conveyor is limited. The same sensor also gives some headroom for codes on cartons or trays that vary slightly in size without needing to reposition the camera.

Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
