HIKROBOT MV-CI013-GS-TF — Area Scan Cameras
1.3 MP, Sony IMX990, InGaAs SWIR, GigE, TEC+Fan, Mono, 91 fps

The MV-CI013-GS-TF uses the InGaAs Sony IMX990 sensor for short-wave infrared (0.4-1.7 μm) imaging — a different technology from the uncooled vanadium oxide thermal detector in the rest of the family, delivering spectral imaging rather than thermal temperature measurement. Reaching 91 fps at 1280×1024 with 52.2 dB SNR and 56 dB dynamic range, it is the TEC+fan-cooled variant of the CI013 SWIR sub-family, giving it the highest thermal stability of the three. It offers two exposure modes: ultrashort (3-7 μs) and standard (8 μs-0.1 s).
GigE Vision V2.0/GenICam compatible, the camera offers a rich I/O set through its 12-pin P10 connector including RS-232, plus opto-isolated in/out and bidirectional non-isolated I/O. TEC cooling drives 11.7 W consumption, so it runs on 9-24 VDC only, with no PoE listed. The C-mount, 58×58×82 mm housing works with the MVS client and GenICam-based third-party software.

Key features
- Adopts InGaAs sensor and supports spectral imaging of 0.4 μm to 1.7 μm.
- Supports TEC to provide good cooling effect.
- Multiple ISP functions like digital noise reduction, contrast ratio, etc.
- Adopts compact structure and design to meet spatial requirements.
- Compatible with GigE Vision V2.0 Protocol, GenICam Standard, and third-party software based on the protocol and standard.
Where it is used
The InGaAs sensor’s 0.4-1.7 μm spectral range and TEC-cooled stability suit spectral imaging on continuously running production lines, material sorting/differentiation, and applications needing long, uninterrupted duty cycles; it is built for SWIR-based imaging inspection, not thermal temperature measurement.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
