Spot Temperature Sensors
Sensors that give an instant temperature reading from a single point, by infrared, without contact.
A spot-measurement non-contact temperature sensor measures the infrared radiation emitted from a single point on the target surface to produce one temperature value; it can connect directly to a PLC or temperature controller. Omron’s thermopile-based ES1-N, ES1B and ES1C series infrared thermosensors can measure up to +500 °C and operate with a 4-20 mA analog output. Note: Neither Panasonic nor Telemecanique has a spot-measurement infrared temperature sensor in its catalog, so this card lists only Omron products. Measurement range and output type are chosen to match the application.
