Positive Displacement Flowmeter

Positive displacement flowmeters determine total flow by dividing the medium into chambers of fixed volume and counting how many times these chambers fill and empty. Because measurement is based directly on volume, they provide high accuracy at low flow rates and with viscous media.

Selection parameters
Nominal diameter (DN)According to line size
MediumViscous liquid, fuel, oil or chemical
Viscosity rangeDetermined by the medium
Working pressureAccording to line pressure class
Working temperatureAccording to medium temperature
OutputMechanical register or pulse/analogue output
Measuring range, accuracy class and body material vary with the medium and are therefore determined on a project basis. Contact us to select the right model for your line.
