The CX-481 is a version of Panasonic's compact CX-400 photoelectric sensor family fitted with a dedicated circuit and optics for transparent object detection. It reliably senses targets such as PET bottles, glass, or clear film that typically defeat standard reflective sensors, using a special algorithm that evaluates the subtle surface reflection difference of transparent material. It is designed for confirming the presence of transparent products at filling, capping, and labeling stations on bottling/packaging lines.
