E2C-H Heat-Resistant Separate-Amplifier Proximity Sensor
The E2C-H is a heat-resistant variant of OMRON's E2C separate-amplifier inductive sensor line, with a PEEK sensing face, brass case, and fluorine-resin heat-resistant coaxial cable that allow the sensor head to operate continuously at up to 200°C ambient — far beyond standard inductive sensor ratings. The amplifier unit is DIN-rail/panel mounted away from the hot zone and offers a 4-turn potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment. Intended for furnace, oven, curing-line, and other high-temperature process equipment where the target metal or its immediate surroundings run hot.
- Sensor head rated for continuous operation at -10 to 200°C ambient
- PEEK (polyether ether ketone) sensing face and heat-resistant fluorine-resin coaxial cable
- Separate amplifier unit (E2C-JC4xH) can be panel/DIN-rail mounted in a cooler location
- 4-turn potentiometer for fine sensitivity/sensing-distance adjustment
- Available in M8 (1.5mm), M12 (2mm) and M18 (5mm) sensing-distance sensor heads
- NPN open-collector output, 12-24 VDC amplifier supply
